Good Ol' Flea - Flea Market Concept

Event Branding
Visual Communication
As part of my illustration course at Kookmin University in Seoul, I developed a fictional concept for Good Ol’ Flea: a cozy flea market run entirely by grandmothers.
Each granny hosts her own stall, offering goods that reflect her unique story and personality, from vintage books to homemade jams, baked goods, and hand-sewn crafts.

The goal was to create an illustrated world that feels warm, inviting, and full of small, personal details. I imagined the market as a celebration of tradition, character, and community, where every stall tells its own story.
Through this project, I wanted to capture the nostalgia, care, and love that such a market would bring to life.

I brought it to life through six illustrated postcards and a poster that encapsulates the flea market’s atmosphere.
Each illustration highlights a different stall and its granny owner, using warm colours, soft textures, and small storytelling details to create a cozy, lived-in feeling.
The visual language is charming, personal, and slightly whimsical, designed to make viewers feel like they are wandering through the market themselves, discovering the hidden treasures at each corner.
